Chrome knows who you are… let’s do something about it!
Some users have noted that Google Chrome assigns a unique Client ID at every installation so each copy can be identified and tracked.
If you wish not to disclose your ID, Stefan Bauer has created a small Google Chrome launcher that automatically deletes the unique Client ID before each run. It basically scans the “Local State” file inside the Chrome directory and removes all the info related to the Client ID before starting the actual browser.
A safer shade of Chrome
Running Windows XP in Safe Mode I was able to get Google Chrome running. I then decided to see if there were some conflicts with running processes and started killing them to see what happened. Now the browser is executed successfully, but pages won’t load despite the firewall being open…
Making money with XNA
Microsoft has finally announced that premium members of the XNA Creators Club will be able to sell the games they have developed through the Xbox Live Marketplace.
As long as you have completed your Xbox 360 game, you send it to the Creators Club community to be peer reviewed and if successful could earn as much as 70% of the 200-800 Microsoft points selling price range (paid quarterly, in actual cash).
